The CME Shine Ceramic Coating Guarantee

We stand behind our work. CME Shine Industries is committed to delivering top-tier ceramic coating services, and our guarantee is built to keep your vehicle protected for the long haul. When you follow a few simple care guidelines, your coating keeps performing and your warranty stays valid. Here is exactly how it works.

What the Guarantee Covers

All of our ceramic coatings are backed by the same CME Guarantee when paired with your Annual Inspection Maintenance Detail. Keeping Your Coating and Warranty in Top Shape

To keep your ceramic coating performing at its best and to uphold your warranty, follow these maintenance requirements:

  • Annual inspections. Schedule a yearly inspection within 30 days before the anniversary of your coating application. This keeps the coating effective and the gloss strong, and it keeps your warranty active.
  • Proper vehicle care. Wash and dry your vehicle properly and regularly, so contaminants like bird droppings, bug splatter, and tree sap do not sit on the surface and compromise the coating.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals. Use pH-neutral car shampoos and avoid abrasive cleaning agents that can degrade the coating.
  • Professional repairs. If your coating ever needs repair or reapplication, have the work performed by a certified CME Shine detailer.

Ask us what to use, and pick it up when you come in for your annual detail.

Transferable Coverage

Good news for resale value. The warranty is transferable to a new vehicle owner, as long as they follow the same maintenance requirements and notify CME Shine within the first 30 days of the transfer, so we can review the coating care do's and don'ts with the new owner. A documented, transferable coating warranty is a real selling point when the time comes to move the vehicle.

What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

To set clear expectations, the guarantee does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Accidents, impacts, or collisions
  • Severe weather
  • Modifications or alterations to the vehicle
  • Misuse or neglect, such as leaving contaminants like bird droppings, sap, or tar on the surface instead of removing them promptly
  • Frequent or excessive use of automated car washes, especially those with brushes or harsh chemicals

Backed by Certified Work

A guarantee is only as good as the work behind it. Every coating we apply is installed by an IDA Certified Detailer with Skills Validated (CD-SV) and a Recognized Industry Trainer (RIT), using professional-grade products in a controlled shop environment. That is what lets us stand behind the result with confidence.

FAQ

Ceramic Coating Guarantee FAQ

Is the ceramic coating warranty transferable?

Yes. The warranty transfers to a new owner as long as they follow the same maintenance requirements, including the annual inspection, and notify CME Shine within the first 30 days of ownership.

What voids my coating warranty?

Coverage does not apply to damage from accidents, severe weather, vehicle modifications, neglect such as leaving contaminants on the paint, or frequent use of automated brush car washes. Skipping the annual inspection or using harsh, abrasive chemicals can also affect your coverage.

How often do I need an inspection?

Once a year, within 30 days before the anniversary of your coating application. This Annual Inspection Maintenance Detail keeps your coating performing and your CME Guarantee valid.

Can I still wash my car normally?

Yes, and you should. Regular washing with a pH-neutral shampoo, plus proper drying, is encouraged. The main things to avoid are abrasive chemicals and automated car washes with brushes, which can damage the coating over time.
